Eliza McCartney is the youngest-ever pole vault medallist, winning a bronze for New Zealand at the 2016 Rio Olympics. World Junior Record holder in 2015 (4.64m). Commonwealth Games Silver Medallist 2018. Sixth highest vault of all time (4.94m).
She holds a degree in Environmental Science and is a Member of World Athletics Champions for a Better World. Also a Member of EcoAthletes. She sits on Athletes New Zealand and New Zealand Olympic Committee Athletes Commission.
