
Abby Chicken is the Head of Sustainability at Openreach, where she leads the digital network provider’s strategy to achieve net-zero operations by 2031 and a net-zero supply chain by 2041. Navigating large-scale corporate change, her key focus areas include nature-positive infrastructure and electrifying the UK’s second-largest commercial van fleet.
Abby built her expertise over a decade in corporate social responsibility within the retail sector. She previously shaped Selfridges’ “Project Earth” and “Project Ocean” campaigns and worked in corporate responsibility at John Lewis. She also serves as a trustee for the Surrey Wildlife Trust.
