Etienne Stott MBE is an Olympic gold medallist, climate advocate and co-founder of Champions for Earth. At London 2012, he and Tim Baillie won Great Britain’s first Olympic gold medal in canoe slalom C2. Since retiring from competitive sport, Etienne has become a prominent voice for urgent climate and ecological action. He has been involved with Extinction Rebellion and uses his sporting platform to engage athletes, communities and decision-makers. Through advocacy and public leadership, he connects the values of sport such as courage, responsibility and collective effort with systemic climate action.
